About the research
Research objective: The overall objective is to increase the awareness and knowledge of concrete overlay applications among state DOT, contractors, and engineering consultants and strengthen their confidence in concrete overlay solutions. Concrete overlays have been elevated in importance in the CP Road map, and industry, FHWA, and the CP Tech Center are now initiating a collaborate effort through this project. The 2-part approach will provide both field training and a report on each state's project to accomplish this objective.
