About the research
Research objective: In January 2004, the Iowa Department of Transportation contracted with the Center for Transportation Research and Education to develop a crash analysis resource document specific to the unique needs of potential users in the State of Iowa.
Many of the tasks described in the original proposal have been accomplished; however, a few key elements remain to be accomplished. As the initial budget funding has been exhausted, a supplemental proposal and budget are needed to complete the critical remaining tasks.
The goal of this supplemental proposal is to gather the resources needed to complete the intent of the original project, have the project reviewed by the Iowa DOT, and develop and publish the Iowa Safety Analysis Manual.
