CR 65 Comprehensive Intersection Resource Library. Resources included in this library represent a broad cross section of publications and other media published by FHWA and other transportation safety partners.
Library content is organized into broad categories including traditional signalized and unsignalized intersections, roundabouts, highway/rail grade crossings, and other nontraditional intersection designs such as single-point intersections. Links are provided to other transportation safety partners’ websites for additional information and resources.

CR 66 Kansas Roundabout Guide. This 175-page guide includes a general description of roundabouts, a planning section with information about favorable locations and typical costs, and a design section, plus information on effective public relations.

Publications

P 1660 Traffic Devices: Historical Aspects Thereof. This book traces the historical development of all types of traffic control devices from 250 BC to 1970. It provides an authoritative technical reference and an interesting report of the experiences and reasoning behind present-day traffic devices.

P 1661 Media Relations Guide. This booklet, from Kansas LTAP, contains information on handling interviews confidently and professionally and being proactive in media relations.
