CD-ROM
CR 67 A Portable Floating Road from the Netherlands. This CD-ROM has a video and other information on a portable floating road that was developed in the Netherlands. The individual modules can be connected to form a temporary crossing. Possible applications include a temporary bypass during major bridge maintenance and access to areas during floods.
DVD
DVD 5 Road Risk. This television special, which aired several times on the Weather Channel, describes the impact of weather events on roadways and the technologoes being developed and deployed to address the impacts of these events and improve roadway operations in good and bad weather. Adverse weather conditions described include fog, snow and ice, and rain.
Videos
V 738 Meth Lab Waste Recognition for Adopt-a-Highway Volunteers. This video educates Adopt-a-Highway volunteers about the dangers of meth lab waste products volunteers may encounter. This information would also be useful for road maintenance workers. This video can be viewed online. See www.dot.state.co.us/AdoptAHighway/.

Publications
P 1663 Signalized Intersections: Informational Guide. This guide provides a single, comprehensive document with methods for evaluating the safety and operations of signalized intersections. Topics covered include fundamental principles of user needs, geometric design, traffic signal design and operation, safety and operational analysis techniques, and a wide variety of treatments to address existing or projected problems.
It also covers alternative intersection forms that improve performance through the use of indirect left turns and other treatments. Each treatment includes a discussion of safety, operational performance, multimodal issues, and physical and economic factors that should be considered.
