Research Objectives
This study will follow the protocol of the MRD project (refer to MRD abstract) and will refer to distress due to microorganisms in the environment. The study will investigate bio-degradation of the constituents of concrete as a result of deicers and other compounds associated with the construction and maintenance of pavements and structures.
