Paper and poster themes

The Third International Conference on Weigh-in-Motion (ICWIM3) requests papers and posters on one or more of the following themes. Papers in other areas of interest to the WIM industry will be considered. Reports of research in progress are particularly welcome.

• freight mobility
• traffic load data for pavement and bridge design and management
• traffic and road safety
• vehicle weights and dimensions enforcement
• road pricing
• WIM standards
• WIM testing
• data quality, management, and use
• WIM technology

Submission of paper/poster abstracts, January 1, 2001

Notification of acceptance, March 2001

Submission of full papers, August 1, 2001 or before

Notification of acceptance and remarks, October 1, 2001

Submission of final, revised papers, December 1, 2001

Abstract submission guidelines

To be considered for acceptance, abstracts must

• be written in English.
• be no longer than 750 words, or three double-spaced pages including graphics, whichever is shorter.
• give a thorough summary of objectives, approach, and findings.
• be accompanied by the completed form below.
