Iowa’s Snow Roadeo offers operators an opportunity to challenge each other’s skill in operating trucks, motor graders, and loaders. Contestants test their knowledge and skills through
- a written exam (truck and motor grader)
- a timed vehicle-defect identification exercise
- a driving test on a course that simulates various job requirements and driving situations
Contestants may compete in either the truck roadeo or the motor grader roadeo. All contestants may compete in the loader roadeo.
Who should participate?
Operators from every city and county in Iowa are encouraged to participate. Truck operators compete in teams of two.
Registration fee and deadline
Registration fee is $75 per person, which includes a box lunch and break refreshments. This includes up to two events, e.g., truck and loader. The registration deadline is August 22, 2008. Cancellation policy
Registrations cancelled in writing by August 22 will receive a full refund. After that date a $10 cancellation fee will be assessed. Substitutes may be made at any time.
