Loader Roadeo Course Details

  1. Parallel Parking (350 points)
    The objective is to drive forward to the stop sign. Back the loader into the confined space without touching or hitting any cones. Stop with the loader completely in the space and the rear most part of the loader in the 12” box without touching or going past the line. The operator must sound the horn when completing the maneuver. The bucket must be level and approximately 1 foot off the ground while entering and exiting this maneuver.
  2. Ball in Chute (350 points)
    The objective is to push the ball with the loader bucket and place the ball in the chute. Bucket cannot touch ramp / Obstacle disqualified
  3. Tapered Backing (350 points)
    The objective is to drive the loader backwards between a set of cones that are gradually closer together. The operator must negotiate the loader between the cones without touching or hitting any cones. The bucket must be level and approximately one foot off the ground while entering and exiting this maneuver.
  4. Back & Forward Serpentine (350 points)
    The objective is to maneuver the loader backward through a series of barrels in a continuous motion and not make contact with the barrels, reverse direction and continue the maneuver. The bucket must be level and approximately one foot off the ground while entering and exiting this maneuver.
  5. Backward S-Curve (350 points)
    The objective is to maneuver the loader backwards through an S-Curve without touching or hitting any cones. The bucket must be level and approximately 1 foot off the ground while driving through this maneuver.
  6. Offset Parked Cars with Tennis Balls (350 points)
    The objective is to maneuver the loader through the left and right parking obstacles knocking the tennis balls of the holders without touching or hitting the holders.
  7. Stop Line (350 points)
    The objective is to come as close to the stop line as possible with the front of the loader bucket without touching or going past the stop line. The time stops when the operator sounds the horn.
