Call for Papers
The focus of the conference is the latest developments in transportation planning and land use modeling and new developments and strategies in air quality including transportation planning and land use planning processes that result in air quality benefits. The conference will focus on the technical and data implications.

- Innovative uses of GIS for land use planning, air quality, and transportation planning
- Planning challenges in small and medium sized communities
- Addressing air quality issues in small and medium sized communities
- Relationship between land use and access management
- Relationship between land use and air quality
Timeline
November 20, 2006: Abstracts due
December 20, 2006: Authors notified of acceptance of abstract
March 1, 2007: Full paper or extended abstract due
April 1, 2007: Papers returned to authors with comments
May 1, 2007: Final papers or extended abstracts due
July 9–11, 2007: Conference
Instructions to Submit Abstracts
Abstracts must be 250 words or less. Make sure to include author contact information and abstract's related topic area with your abstract. Abstracts may be submitted in MS Word or PDF format.

Copy MSWord or PDF file to the ftp site. If you do not receive a confirmation within several days or have problems accessing the site email Shauna Hallmark at shallmar@iastate.edu.
Abstract Acceptance
Each author of an accepted abstract may submit either a short paper (6–10 pages) or an extended abstract (3–5 pages). Authors must attend the conference and present their paper in order for it to be included in the final proceedings.
