• Become familiar with airside capacity and delay, and be able to formulate capacity and delay using queuing theory

• Be able to define capacity (aka ultimate capacity) and practical capacity
• Understand 15 factors that affect hourly capacity, be able to list 5
• Understand the components of and be able to apply a simple, poisson based queuing model for arrivals
• Understand the components of and be able to apply a simple, poisson based queuing model for departures
• Understand the components of and be able to apply a simple, poisson based queuing model for mixed operations
