About the CM&T Program

Mission

The mission of the Construction Management & Technology (CM&T) program is to improve the efficiency and cost effectiveness of planning, designing, constructing, and operating transportation facilities through innovative construction processes and technologies. CM&T performs applied research to enhance construction transportation projects and disseminate knowledge through appropriate forums.

Research ideas and partners

Research project ideas are generated and funded by a consortia of industry, state, and federal organizations in areas of relevance to meet their needs. CM&T works in cooperation with other groups within the Center for Transportation Research and Education such as the Partnership for Geotechnical Advancement, the National Concrete Pavement Technology Center, and other outside organizations.
