Getting to CTRE

The Center for Transportation Research and Education is located in the ISU Research Park, just south of Highway 30 and east of University Boulevard, in Ames, Iowa. The address is 2711 South Loop Drive, Suite 4700. CTRE is in Building 4.

Driving directions

From Interstate 35, take Highway 30 west. Take the University Boulevard exit and turn left (south) onto University Boulevard. Turn left (east) onto Airport Road. Take the first right onto South Loop Drive. Enter either the third of fourth driveway on the left and park.

CTRE's main entrance

CTRE's main entrance and reception area is on the northwest side of the building, facing Airport Road. It is marked on the map with a red arrow. Ample parking is available for visitors.

Common entrances for workshops/events

Common entrances to conference rooms are marked on the map by yellow arrows. Workshops and events will most likely be held in one of two conference rooms that are accessible from the atrium in Building 4. To access these rooms, enter through the double doors on either the southwest or northeast side of Building 4.

When you enter, both conference rooms will be on your left, before you pass vending machines and restrooms.

When you enter, walk all the way through, past vending machines and restrooms. Conference room doors are on the right.
