About the research
Research objective: Using information gathered from county engineers and staff at past safety workshops as well as data implemented safety improvements on local rural roads will be identified and described, with most emphasis given to low cost improvements. Following review of the document created by an invited group of potential users, final edits will be made, sufficient copies printed, and the document will be distributed to local engineering and planning agencies in the state.
